People LOVE owls. I do agree that they are pretty cool but I had no idea making this hat for my daughter would cause such a frenzy. The other girls in her class just had to have one too. I've made more owl hats than any other project I have done. I will say it's a fun quick hat so I don't mind. I just find it a bit curious I guess.
