I recently got the chance to a test another pattern for the awesome Julie. I’m sure you all remember the awesome sparkler bag… that I accidentally destroyed…Anyways this time, there was no hot wax in sight! I made sure of it :)
This pattern is so lovely. When I first saw the photos of this hat, I thought “How did she do that?” It’s actually easier then it looks, I promise :) The Heartbeat Skully hat is a quick and super cute skull cap. I chose to test this pattern with Halloween colors (Shocker, I know) Actually my son picked them out. I really love the tiny splashes of color peeking through the black. It’s definitely a project I will make again. Included in her directions is the version I made and a longer slouchy version (that I am also making) The pattern is currently available on Ravelry for the low price of just 4 bucks.
My kiddos were in no posing mood so at first I had to use Baby Bear… Then my son got jealous of all the attention baby bear was getting so he let me snap a few of him too :) (links to pattern are below my photos)
Isn’t this hat adorable?
